Judges

How did you get into the beer industry? Why does beer matter to you?

I started homebrewing at 18 years old (23 years ago) in Sweden. From there I started to read and tried to learn everything I possibly could about beer and brewing. I'm still learning new things everyday. I've been trying to visit as many breweries I can around the world. I've worked my way up in the industry. For the last 7 years I have been working as head brewer at White labs in Copenhagen.

Why do you judge at the World Beer Cup? What does judging at the World Beer Cup mean to you?

It has been on my wish list for many years. I have friends that have done it and recommended it for me. For me judging pushes me to go deeper in my beer tasting skills and is a huge opportunity to meet new friends with the same interests as me.
