How did you get into the beer industry? Why does beer matter to you?
Born and raised in the Hallertau. Growing up with hops was the ideal preparation for a career in brewing. Studying brewing engineering in Weihenstephan laid the foundation, and joining BarthHaas in 2008 in the technical sales support team marked the start in the brewing industry. Since then, hops and beer have been an important part of my life: excellent colleagues and fellow human beings with a common topic of conversation that couldn't be more enjoyable.
Why do you judge at the World Beer Cup? What does judging at the World Beer Cup mean to you?
Judging at the World Beer Cup has many facets: interacting with so many professionals, promoting a positive image of beer, constantly gaining new experiences, and ultimately continuing to learn and develop.
